Context prepared a social significance assessment of White Bay Power Station (NSW) to identify the features of the power station that hold significance to the associated communities – local residents and former employees of the White Bay Power Station. Our approach included extensive engagement with these communities: local residents through a Open Day and survey, and former employees through on-site discussion groups and phone interviews. Our work contributed to a Conservation Management Plan developed by Design 5 Architects (lead consultants).
