The Lake Condah area is a highly significant part of Australia’s Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal heritage. Now included on the World Heritage List as the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape, this very first heritage management plan describes the Lake Condah area, and outlines opportunities and constraints affecting its future development; assesses the significant cultural and natural elements; identifies what is needed to protect significant features; and proposes objectives, policies, and priority actions for the future management of the area. The project also included the subsequent preparation of an implementation plan.
