To support the assessment of aesthetic values of four landscapes nominated for the National Heritage List – Stirling Ranges (WA), the Grampians (Victoria), Glasshouse Mountains (Queensland) and Warrumbungles (NSW) – Context reviewed existing landscape aesthetics methodologies, developed an integrated approach that incorporated the Inspirational Landscapes methodology developed earlier by Context, and applied it to the assessment of these four places. All four are now included on the NHL; the outstanding aesthetic values of three are recognised, but not the Stirling Range National Park.
