Context, with Robin Crocker, Ian Jack & Colleen Morris, was commissioned to research the potential national heritage values of a central area in the Sydney CBD, including Macquarie Street, the Domain and Botanic Gardens and Hyde Park. The analysis, undertaken in two stages, focused on the colonial heritage of the area, but also encompassed contemporary community social and aesthetic values. The reports present a detailed history, physical analysis of the townscape qualities, thorough analysis of values and conclusions from the research. [Source: Context Pty Ltd]
