As part of a wider project on understanding the heritage values of the coastal landscapes of Coffs Harbour (northern NSW), Chris designed and ran a community heritage values workshop, followed by a pilot training workshop for professionals on ways to bring community values into heritage assessments, an essential skill if social values are to be effectively included. The report on the training workshop to the Australian Heritage Commission summarises the five modules in the course and recommends further refinement of the program.
